More thoughts on dealing with a tough boss
It’s Friday, let’s keep it short.
My pal Neil has a tough boss.
She’s demanding, on top of everything, and has very high expectations.
How does he stay on her good side?
Sometimes he’ll sometimes ask, "Can I get your advice on this…?"
(Even if he doesn’t!)
That shows her that he values her experience and advice.
It also reminds her that she still has the power in the relationship.
But not really.
Ben Franklin used to borrow books from people who hated him (and this was back when books were rare and valuable).
Ol’ Ben knew that a person who performs a favor for you is more likely to do another in the future.
So, with that in mind, will you tell a friend about the 2 Minute Tip?
