Followup with cautious communicators
Some people are slow, deliberate talkers. They think about what to say and articulate precisely without a lot of movement or strong body language. You might call them reserved, thorough, detail-oriented, and comprehensive. They may seem anti-social, but are “just in their heads.”
In the language of DiSC, these are “C” or Conscientious Style people.
These are the people who tend to judge you by how well you’ve thought through an issue, you’ll benefit from being comprehensive, structured, practical, and analytical in your follow-up.
Because they analyze everything from all the angles, you should expect skepticism, follow rules, regulations, and procedures, set realistic deadlines and parameters, and provide a detailed follow-up, which they’ll likely read.
And don’t forget to triple-check for errors.
Keywords: logic, accuracy, and thorough.
