Don’t send that angry email

One of my clients was very upset. She even wrote an angry email letting the other person have it. That felt good, but she was self-aware enough to not click send and instead sleep on it.

The next day, feeling some separation, able to see the other side (a little), she asked AI to rewrite her email.

Great strategy.

My client wasn’t comfortable letting me share her email, so I used AI to rewrite this example from Buzzfeed, to illustrate:

"Do me a favor, don't ever tell me you are too busy because I don't believe it. It is a lame excuse and nobody that is successful ever says that. Work smarter or longer or both."

…AI, please help this guy…

Hi [Colleague's Name],

I'd like to talk about workload and time management strategies. I've noticed that you've mentioned being "too busy" a few times recently, and I want to understand more about the challenges you're facing.

Everyone experiences busy periods, and it's important to find effective ways to prioritize tasks and manage our time. I am confident we can work together to find solutions that help you feel less overwhelmed and more productive.

Could we schedule a quick meeting to discuss this further? I'm open to exploring different approaches and strategies that might be helpful for you.

Thanks,
