Ask “what if”

In their book, The Work Of Leaders, authors Julie Straw, Barry Davis, Mark Scullard, and Susie Kukkonen’s research revealed that most employees want leaders to provide them with direction, guidance, and opportunities.

Your team is looking to you to explore possibilities (both obvious and hidden) to provide opportunities for growth -- for the team and individuals.

Their advice?

Ask “What if…?”

What if we implemented a new system?

What if we asked our clients about their toughest challenges?

Focus on exploration this week!

Take some time to look beyond normal constraints and figure out what’s possible.
