Stop being a jerk

We all have inbox fatigue.

According to HubSpot, the average person receives 122 emails per day.

It’s easy to miss things.

Keep this in mind the next time you find yourself typing a reply that starts with “as I mentioned in my last email…” or “per my last email…”

You’re putting people off.

Sure, you’re right. But, what’s more important – being right? Or building and maintaining relationships?

Instead, just soften your language with something like, “in case you missed it, I’m attaching it again…” or “It’s an easy miss with all we have going on…”

A little empathy will help you be heard.
