They’re teaching communication in business school

UC Berkeley now offers a course called Difficult Conversations: Conflict Lab, where students are able to roleplay scenarios and overcome their discomfort with tough conversations, like giving and receiving feedback or handling conflict.

Sounds a lot like our workshops.

About the roleplay format, one of the students said: “The frameworks help you calm down and reassess the situation and approach it very tactically.” He admitted that in the past he felt uncomfortable around disagreements, but now he thinks difficult conversations can build trust and intimacy.

The way to get better is to practice, practice, practice.
