Explain what you’re doing
It’s Friday. Let’s keep it short.
Three stone cutters are on a building site, hewing stones. A woman walks past and asks them what they’re doing.
The first says: “I’m cutting stones.”
The second says: I’m building a wall.”
The third says: “I’m building a cathedral.”
Which one answered the woman’s question?
That depends on what she wanted to know. None of the stone cutters found out what she was really asking before responding.
