Responding to liars

You know someone’s not telling you the truth. What can you do?

Get frustrated, attack, call them out, have a general freakout.

This is what they want.

Or you can be strategic.

Pause and say, “I need to come back to this conversation,” or “Something feels off” or just stay silent.

This will drive them crazy and you can watch their reactions.

Liars will often tie themselves in knots trying to redirect the guilt or figure out what you think, or gaslight.

Don’t show your cards. Make them show theirs.
