Gratitude over remorse

Which is more powerful…

“Sorry, I’m late.”

Or

“I appreciate your patience.”

?

People enjoy gratitude more than remorse, generally.

When you say, “Sorry for bothering you,” you may be influencing the other person on some level to be responsible for making you feel better.

Next time, try “Thanks for your time.”

Thanks for your time.
