3 seconds to make someone feel valued

Here’s a wonderfully simple way leaders can make the people around them feel valued.

Simply pause to consider their question before answering.

If someone asks you, “What do you think about…” and you pause a few seconds to consider the answer, as simple as it may be, it gives the impression that you value the question and them.

Not only that, it adds gravitas to your speech and thoughts.
